Half a century of education was celebrated on Saturday when Homer First School held its summer fair.
The school in Testwood Road is 50 years old this year, so there was a deliberate 'retro' feel to the event - which was organised by head of Early Years Hannah Tilley.
She said: "I was a pupil myself so I wanted to recreate a traditional school fair of the kind people would have had back then.
"We went for traditional stall games like splat-a-rat and hook-a-duck."
Music was provided by pupils from The Windsor Boys School and by a Windsor based Glee Club that includes some Homer School pupils among the members.
There was face painting and a visit by stilt walkers dressed as Batman and a unicorn who brought a touch of magic on a warm, sunny afternoon.
Local Police Community Support Officers Aaron Francis and Dan Flack also looked in to say hello.
