Care homes in Berkshire are inviting local people to join in their family-friendly celebrations for Care Home Open Day.
Care UK’s Queen’s Court, on Dedworth Road, Windsor, Clara Court, on Courthouse Road, Maidenhead and Oak House in Forest Close, Slough will be open from 2pm to 4pm today (Friday).
Visitors can look forward to polishing their artistic skills during arts and crafts sessions at Clara Court and Oak House, while Queen’s Court will be showcasing residents’ work for a special art exhibition. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet friendly animals at Clara Court’s petting farm.
Mountbatten Grange on Helston Lane, Windsor, will be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 2pm to 5pm. It will be hosting a Mardi Gras carnival and street party with plenty of themed entertainment, as well as an ice cream van.
