Legoland's much publicised Haunted House ride is up and running after the disastrous breakdown which ruined its launch a few weeks ago.

The Windsor theme park's Haunted House Monster Party ride sees guests met by Lego gargoyles and talking statues, before a vampire turns a banquet hall upside down.

The new attraction opened on a Saturday in April but closed shortly afterwards after a Legoland spokesman explained that technical issues were at fault.

It has been running successfully for weeks now though and Legoland is hoping to counter the bad publicity with a special offer to families thinking of visiting Windsor's famous theme park in Winkfield Road.

Families booking between now and June 9 for an overnight stay any time until early July can take advantage of the Little Monsters Go Free package with children coming for free - one child for each parent.

The fully functioning Haunted House attraction is hosted by 'Lord Vampyre' whose party trick of turning his mansion upside down once everyone is inside has gone down very well.

Another big new attraction is the Lego City 4D movie which enables families to become part of the action.

Little Monsters Go Free offer at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is available to book online until midnight on June 9 at www.legolandholidays.co.uk/offers/early-booking-offer.html
