A SEA of pink fundraisers united at Queen Anne's School for a Race for Life event on Friday.
More than 500 students and staff came together and they smashed their initial target of £2,000.
Donations are still coming in and the school has already achieved a staggering £5,440 to help fight cancer.
Kayleigh Norman, marketing and communications manager, said: "There was a fantastic energy and excitement as the running group took off around the field with the walking parties cheering them on from behind.
"Some girls completed their laps so quickly that they decide to go around again to support their friends."
