Sports loving pupils at St Edward’s Royal Free Middle School have been celebrating after winning two trophies in one day.
The first final on Tuesday saw the team from the school in Parsonage Lane emerge 4-2 winners against St Peter’s Middle School of Old Windsor in the district cup for Year 7s open to all schools in Slough and Windsor.
The second trophy later in the afternoon saw the side confidently beat St Bernard’s Grammar School from Slough with a 7-3 win.
Both finals were played at Arbour Park - home to Slough Town. The team remain unbeaten this season and the victories cap off a very successful sporting year for the Windsor school as their Year 8 netball team qualified for the schools finals at Furze Platt
