Jail sentences have been handed down to a man and a woman caught supplying drugs.

Josh O’Reilly, 21, of The Limes, Windsor, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Friday to 18 months’ imprisonment with 18 months on licence after pleading guilty to two counts of supplying a class A drug, two counts supplying a class B drug, two of conspiracy to supply a class A drug and two counts of conspiracy to supply a class B drug.

Lucy MacNab, 19, of Westmead, Windsor, was sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment suspended for 12 months and 100 hours of community service after pleading guilty to two counts of conspiracy to supply a class A drug and two counts of counts of conspiracy to supply a class B drug.

They were charged on January 30.

On October 8, 2017 the car that O’Reilly and MacNab were travelling in was stopped by Thames Valley Police officers. On searching the car, a large quantity of class A and class B drugs were found. O’Reilly and MacNab were arrested on the same day.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Nicola Tompkins, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “I am pleased that O’Reilly and MacNab have been brought to justice. I hope this demonstrates the seriousness in which we take drug dealing in our communities and that we work tirelessly to bring offenders to justice.
