An annual event that brings fun and excitement to disabled children from across the area is being held at Windsor Leisure Centre on Sunday.

The Windsor Lions' Funfest for the children and their families will see disabled youngsters from all over the Home Counties, their friends and families enjoying an afternoon of fun with a wide range of activities laid on for them.

The afternoon will start at 2pm in the main halls of Windsor Leisure Centre at Stovell Road where there will be human table football, an obstacle course, bouncy castles, Wii games, as well as the ever popular bungee run. The second session starting at 4pm and carrying on until 6pm will focus on the leisure pool with its wave machine and slides which the children will have the exclusive use of.

In addition there will be a children’s entertainer for the three to eight year olds.

Windsor Lions’ event organiser Paul Skinner said: “It is all very exciting. We wanted this year to break previous records and it certainly looks like we will do just that. Over 150 youngsters with their families and friends have already registered but we have a space for many more. Any person or organisation wishing to attend what is a free-of-charge fun afternoon should contact me at funfest@windsorlions.co.uk or phone 07980 547147 for details. I will be delighted to hear from them.”
