A bright idea should never be wasted.
So when the annual Bright Ideas competition sponsored by the Royal Borough and organised by Windsor St George Rotary Club produced a prize winning suggestion from Eleanor Smith in 2017, wheels began to turn with the aim of making it a reality.
Eleanor came up with the idea of an electronic community noticeboard for Windsor.
The Windsor Tourist Information Board picked up on the idea and now a 50 inch screen has been set up in Windsor Royal Shopping Centre adjacent to the Information Bureau.
The Community e-Noticeboard will be managed by visitor manager Julia White's team at the bureau and will be officially unveiled at 9am on Thursday.
