Fire crews extinguished a chimney fire in Burnham yesterday evening, urging residents to ensure that chimneys are cleaNed to prevent the risk of domestic incidents.
A crew from Maidenhead were called to the incident on Lent Rise Road at 6.30pm yesterday and spent about two hours extinguishing the fire.
No one was injured, but the road was closed temporarily whilst crews bought the incident under control.
