Charities, schools, community projects and good causes across Maidenhead have been given more time to apply for a share of CALA Homes’ £2,000 Community Bursary.

Now in its third year the bursary provided by the house building company aims to provide support for a wide range of organisations and projects in the areas in which it operates.

The deadline for applications has now been extended to Friday, March 22 and CALA is urging local causes to apply for a share of the bursary by downloading an application form from its website.

Stuart Wallace, managing drector at CALA Homes (Chiltern), said: “We have already received some fantastic applications for a share of our £2,000 Community Bursary and want to make sure as many groups as possible have the opportunity to apply, which is why we have extended our deadline by a further two weeks."

Since its launch in 2017, over 200 good causes across the country have benefitted from CALA’s Community Bursary, receiving a share of more than £200,000.
