THE annual ‘big sleep out’ in Windsor next month will raise money to help those for whom cold, exposed nights have become a way of life.
The Windsor Homeless Project is calling on supporters to sign up to the event which gives fundraisers the chance to show their solidarity for rough sleepers while raising money to help.
The sleep out takes place at the Alma Road Youth and Community Centre on Friday, April 5 and there will be food and entertainment for people taking part.
Fundraisers must wrap up warm and bring pillows, sleeping bags and gloves.
children aged between 14 and 17-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.
People can come as a team from work or a family or as individuals. A suggested donation for the evening is at least £15 and sleepers are asked to commit to a minimum of £200 sponsorship.
