A NEW Windsor care home had bird-feeders filled and binoculars at the ready when it took part in this year’s RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch with the help of some feathered friends.
The team at Care UK’s Mountbatten Grange on Helston Lane invited the Feathers and Furs Falconry Centre to lead a ‘show and tell’ workshop with residents. They even handled the feathered visitors.
Saad Baig, home manager at Mountbatten Grange, said: “We were delighted that the Feathers and Furs Falconry Centre could join us to make our first ever birdwatch even more special . The residents enjoyed seeing the birds up close."
