Windsor will soon have a new Rector - but his or her identity remains secret for the time being.
He or she was interviewed at the start of the month and has accepted the position.
But next month’s Windsor Church News magazine says that the necessary paperwork has to be completed before an official announcement is made.
It will be a few months before the new incumbent takes up their position. Meanwhile the Windsor Team Ministry will continue to be covered by a list of clergy from inside and outside the parish - organised by the church wardens.
The new Rector will be responsible for the Parish Church in High Street, All Saints Church in Frances Road, Holy Trinity Church in Claremont Road and St Stephen and St Agnes Church in Vansittart Road.
Until he or she arrives the Saturday surgery will continue every Saturday between 9.30am and 11am for anyone who wants to discuss a wedding, baptism, or first communion.
