Police was called to a report of an assault in Park Street, Slough, shortly before 6.30pm last night after a 19-year-man sustained injuries described by police as 'puncture wounds' to his face.
He was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries and later discharged.
Police are not revealing whether the wounds were caused by a knife or not.
The circumstances of the attack are being investigated and anyone with information is invited to call 101 quoting the reference 995 24/1 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 if they do not want to speak to the police.
