A‘HAPPINESS festival’ helped cheer Blue Monday up for everyone in Slough.
The event was the brainchild of Linda Tabor Thomas of Slough Happiness Collective and was held on the day claimed as the most depressing of the year - at the Home on the High Street centre in the Observatory.
There was bhangra, belly dancing, poetry writing, an immersive virtual reality demonstration, a singalong and crafts.
Ramesh Kukar, chief executive of Slough Council for Voluntary Service, opened the festival, saying: "Slough’s strength comes from our diversity, our progressive outlook and our focus on the well-being of our citizens."
