A national day of action organised by activists and supporters from the People’s Vote Campaign will take to the streets of Slough on Saturday.

Alongside planned campaigning in Slough, events will be taking place across the country with street stalls set up. The stalls will offer shoppers the chance to indicate their opinions anonymously about the future of Brexit.

Chair of Slough for Europe, Matthew Taylor, said: “A new referendum would not be asking the public to vote again on the same issue, but instead offering a clear choice now that the full details of the withdrawal deal are known.”

“As a town, Slough is rated as one of the bets places to work in the country, but it has only been able to grow and achieve this coveted status because we have always welcomed migrants here. Any moves to make them less welcome by restricting freedom of movement would be detrimental.”

The stall will be located on the High Street outside the Boots store from 14.00 – 16.00 on 26 January.
