The arrests were made at around 12 noon
TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of having an offensive weapon and producing Class B drugs.
A 34 and 29-year-old man were stopped by armed response officers as their car was seen in suspcious circumstances near Reading Lakes Hotel in Pingewood.
At around 12pm, the two men from Reading were arrested by armed police officers after making a stop five miles away in Imperial Way, close to Basingstoke Road in Whitley.
The two men currently remain in police custody.
