World Diabetes Day was supported by Windsor Lions who took a foyer at Tesco’s in Dedworth to highlight the risks associated with the disease.
Teresa and Nick Jones headed the event with other Lions.
Andrea Baganz-Pritchard, Diabetes UK Regional Fundraiser, who attended the event was delighted to see so many members of the public coming to talk about their own experience with living with diabetes.
She said: “We’re really grateful to the Windsor Lions for staging this event. The money raised will help fund ground-breaking research, care services and campaigns.”
