It was International Men’s Day this week and the Safer Slough Partnership has collected together a series of inspirational quotes and advice from men who live and work in the borough.
The quotes will form part of a social media campaign throughout the week.
Josie Wragg, chief executive of Slough Borough Council and chairperson of the Safer Slough Partnership, said: “For the partnership, International Men’s Day is about showcasing the opportunities out there for men and telling the stories of men and boys who live and work in Slough.
“They have shared some quite personal details about how they have managed to overcome challenges and obstacles along the way, and we are grateful that we can share this.
“The hope is that their advice and experiences will resonate with boys and young men who may be stuck in a rut or worried about their future.”
