The Windsor Trooper pub in St Leonard's Road, Windsor has been sold - for £850,000.
Business property advisors Christie and Co who brokered the deal have revealed that the new owners are an independent pub group called Burlison Inns with its own brewery.
It is based in Henlow, Bedfordshire and this will be its 12th pub.
Tom Orchard, business agent at Christie said: “We received a high number of offers, with two going over the guide price. The accepted offer came from a cash buyer with vast experience of the pub industry, the sale completed within six weeks.
"This sale illustrates that a well invested, quality pub with rooms can attract strong interest and offers and this is a sector which continues to boom."
