Six courageous fundraisers raised more than £4,500 for SportsAble by undertaking the arduous Three Peaks challenge.
Niall McCaffrey is sports manager of the Maidenhead based charity which provides sporting facilities and activities for people with disabilities.
He and his team mates Daniel Pringle, Matt Mullane, Michael Rowden, Kate Chapman and driver Joe Salman travelled over 650 kilometres through Scotland, Wales and England - walking 40 of them and climbing 3,408 metres.
The team completed its first ascent on Ben Nevis Tuesday last week before heading to Scaffel Pike for a treacherous night climb, finally finishing the challenge at Snowdon on Wednesday.
After battling 60mph winds during their Ben Nevis ascent and 5ft night time visibility when climbing Scafell Pike two members were struck down with illness and another suffered knee damage during a nasty fall on Scafell Pike. But, two completed in just over the 24 hour target.
