A MUSICAL week that will take audiences from the fast life in jazz age New York to a murder at a birthday party is being offered at Windsor's Theatre Royal next week.
The two musicals playing will share the week - with Looking for Gatsby running from Monday, October 29 to Wednesday, October 31 and Murder for Two running from Thursday, November 1 and Saturday, November 3.
Looking for Gatsby is set in 1928 New York and begins with a woman walking into a derelict speakeasy. She says that she is looking for Gatsby and has something to tell him.
The show takes characters from F Scott Fitzgerald’s famous novel and gives them a new lease of life against the drama, the wry humour and the tragedy of the Jazz Age.
Murder for Two is described as a hi-energy musical whodunit that follows the events that follow the murder of an author at his birthday party.
Enter Officer Moscowicz, a neighbourhood cop who dreams of climbing the ranks. With the clock ticking, this is his chance to solve the crime before the real detective arrives.
Originally a massive off-Broadway hit, Murder For Two is directed by Luke Sheppard, winner of Best Musical Olivier for In The Heights.
You can contact the theatre's box office on 01753 853888 for tickets to see these shows.
