A taxi driver was robbed at knifepoint by two men in High Wycombe on Friday.

The taxi driver was sitting in his vehicle at the junction of Victoria Street and Green Street when he was approached by two men at around 10.20am on September 21.

The pair opened the taxi driver's door, pointed a knife at him and then stole the cash in his hand.

They fled towards Desborough Road.

Police are urging anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of the attack or who may have seen the robbers is urged to come forward.

The first man is described as a black man of average build and around 6ft tall.

He was wearing a black Nike hooded top with the hood pulled up around his face, dark trousers and black gloves which had fabric on top and leather on the palms.

The second attacker is described as a black man wearing a dark coloured hooded top and trousers.

Case Investigator Harriet Hayes, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any CCTV or dash-cam footage that may have captured it.

"This happened in a busy location during the day so it is likely that a passer-by may have seen something.”
