TALENTED young dancers are to perform in professional production.

Nevaeh Oliver, 9, of Skydmore Path, Slough, has been selected for a professional production of Swan Lake at the New Wimbledon Theatre this August.

She will be performing with Megan Jacobs Shrivastava, 12, and Keira Jacobs Shrivastava, 13, both of Windsor. Both girls trained at the Heidi Rhodes School of Dance.

The girls will be starring alongside international principal dancers such as Philipp Bolloev, Samantha Camejo, and Clair Corruble at the performances, which are scheduled for Friday, August 24 at 7.30pm, and on 2.30pm and 7.30pm the following day.

Rehearsals for the ballet are taking place at Ursuline High School, Wimbledon. The young dancers are being coached by Monica Tapiador, who previously danced with English National Ballet. Ms Tapiador said: "the young dancers are treated like professional dancers during rehearsals – we work them hard but the results are fantastic.

"Here, they learn what the life of a professional dancer is like. They are living their dream and they just love it.”

Tickets for the performance can be purchased online at www.atgtickets.com/wimbledon or by calling 0844 871 7646.
