Officers were called out to Swinfield Close, Feltham, at around 7pm, where they found a 32-year-old woman and a baby suffering from stab wounds.
Both victims were rushed to a west London hospital for treatment. The baby boy is currently in a critical condition, although the woman's injuries are not life-threatening.
