The National Trust Estate at Cliveden in Taplow is teaming with spring flowers in time for this year's visitor season.
The six-acre formal garden boasts 21,000 spring bedding plants filling the 16 central triangular beds. In the Long Garden 11,000 pink and white Bellis bellissima grow inside the box hedging, while topiary, statuary and herbaceous borders line the outside of the garden.
In the oriental inspired Water Garden are flowering blossom and magnolias. While from May there will be 2,000 pale blue Camassia leichtlinii in bloom.
Visitors can also walk through the ancient woodland - or book a guided tour of Cliveden’s iconic mansion house where Nancy and Waldorf Astor lived.
Cliveden is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. Admission is free for National Trust members or £14 per adult, £7 per child. A family ticket (up to 2 adults and 3 children) is £35.
Guided house tours are on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays until October, 11am – 1pm (last tour starting 12.30pm).
