
A visiting speaker from Kenya will be a welcome guest at this year's Christian Aid Advent service in Windsor.
Abraham Mwangi will speak on tackling maternal and child health, as well as food shortages in sub-saharan Africa - places in desperate need like South Sudan and Burkino Faso.
The service will be at the Methodist Church, Alma Road on Sunday, December 10 at 5pm.
Representing most of the local churches the Windsor Christian Aid team has had a good year, raising nearly £15,000 for various appeals.
Several churches are currently holding collections for the Disasters Emergency Committee Appeal for the Rohingya people and there will be a street collection in Peascod Street on November 25.
