THE Windsor 2030 forum – the business community-led scheme to formulate a Neighbourhood Plan for the central Windsor area – has concluded its evidence-gathering stage after receiving more than 1,000 responses.

The forum aims to have a first draft of a plan ready in the next few months. The final plan will help guide development proposals in the centre of Windsor for the next 10-15 years.

Areas highlighted for improvement include the upper St Leonard’s Road/lower Peascod Street area, Peascod Quarter around William Street, King Edward Court and High Street/Thames Street as well as exploring the Windsor Link Railway idea and improving the riverside area of town.
