A TOWN has turned out in force to celebrate the birth of the Royal baby.

Hundreds of tourists queued to get into Windsor Castle this morning while many more lined the streets for the changing of the guard and to listen to the Royal Borough town crier, Chris Brown, proclaiming the baby's arrival.

He said: "To be here on a day that is part of our history and to be involved in just the smallest fashion is just fantastic."

The Duchess of Cambridge pub in Thames Street, Castle Studios in Church Street and The Germany Bakery in St Leonards are just a few of the stores offering special deals and products to celebrate the day.

Daniell Park, manager at the Duchess of Cambridge, said: "It's going to be pretty busy today, but it's enjoyable at the same time."
