CHILDREN and parents took to the catwalk for a family fashion show in aid of charity.

Award-winning stylist Lisa Talbot, from Maidenhead, coordinated and styled the event in aid of Sebastian's Action Trust, with families supported by the charity modelling an array of clothes from high-street and designer retailers.

There was also a scrumptious afternoon tea for guests and models to tuck into at the show at the Macdonald Hotel, in High Street, Windsor, on Wednesday.

Guests could enter into a raffle to claim prizes donated by Longacres Nursery, Smile Hair in Ascot and the Berystede Hotel.

Attended by 74 guests, the event raised 1,770.

Jane Gates, director of the trust, said: "As a relatively small charity without any statutory funding we are entirely dependent upon the goodwill of our supporters.

"All the money raised will help those families coping with a seriously-ill child or adolescent." Sebastian's Action Trust provides respite holidays and practical support for seriously-ill children and their families.
