A TOWN crier will look the part after finally being handed his role's 'glorious' costume.
Royal Borough town crier Chris Brown was given his personalised threads on Wednesday - four months after taking the mantle.
The costume is loosely based on a coachman's coat from the late 18th century and was put together by Chris and David Coulthard from Tom Brown's Tailors of Eton.
Mr Brown said: "I'm absolutely blown away by how glorious it is.
"Tom Brown's have done an amazing job and I'm sitting here with a big smile just thinking about it." Mr Brown will debut his new costume during Sunday's Easter procession from The Guildhall to the Parish Church, both in High Street, Windsor, from 11am.
