WINDSOR'S Spring Festival is returning for another year within and around the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Tickets are now available for events across the festival's programme, which this year particularly focuses on young talent.

Martin Denny, Windsor Festival director said: “Windsor Festival aims to be a catalyst in developing the appreciation of cultural creativity, enabling hundreds of talented young people to join in and perform. Our hope is that the Festival provides them with a focus and gives interaction with different areas of society and experiences to aid their development and furnish them with skills to succeed in whichever area they chose a career path in. We hope you enjoy our programme this year.”

The festival takes place from March 12 to March 20 and gives hundreds of performers a platform in which to showcase their talents.

Highlights of the programme include performances on the community stage, held in Windsor Royal Shopping Centre on Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13 and March 19 and 20, giving young people the opportunity to develop programmes, produce performances, exhibitions and be culturally inventive; Faure Requiem, performed by Taplow Youth Choir on Saturday, March 12, in St Georges Chapel, and the final of Berkshire Young Wind and Brass Player of the Year at the Guildhall on Sunday, March 13.
