HEALTHY COMEDY: Dr Phil Hammond

Fresh from his sell-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe, he's gagging to pay you a visit, so make sure you book in with the doctor on Saturday, January 21, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £15, £14 concessions and £13 to members and NHS staff with proof of ID.

CLUB Velocity/Bandorama at Rising Sun Arts Centre is offering a university challenge with a twist.

And you don't have to be an academic to enjoy it. In fact, all you need to bring are your ears and an open mind, as you'll be there to sample the sounds of the Reading Uni Vs Goldsmiths sing Off with students including Jamie Crawford, Dylan Louise, Bear Jones and Dani Nicole Weber.

Their 19th Bogus Breakdown tour marks The Rolling Stones' 50th anniversary and a highlight in a career that's seen them perform for and with, amongst many others, Bill Clinton and Oasis.

The Stones roll into Bracknell's Wylde Theatre on Thursday, February 2, £16, and Newbury Corn Exchange on Saturday, February 18, £19.50.
