MICK Woodham insists that the season is not over for Windsor despite their exit from the Premier Challenge Cup.

Windsor suffered a 2-0 defeat at Epsom & Ewell in the semi-finals on Tuesday. Matt Ferdinando and Jordan Gallagher got the goals for hosts, who can look forward to the final against Westfield at Stag Meadow on Friday, May 5.

The loss means Windsor have only league points to play for now, starting with a visit from AFC Hayes on Saturday (3pm).

“Our season isn’t over and there’s still plenty of points to play for. We’ve got to dust down and go again because there’s no point in feeling sorry for ourselves,” Woodham told the Observer.

“Hayes got a good result last weekend but it’s down to us. We’ve got to get points on the board and move on.

“If there are six games to go then beating last season’s points total (55) sounds realistic, but for us it starts on Saturday.

“We’ve got to get three points on the board.”
