WINDSOR & Eton have have won the title thanks to a solitary strike from Nathan Jack in the 29th minute.
The Royalists needed to win to seal the Southern League Division One South & West championship and automatic promotion.
Ex-Totton man Jack got the crucial goal as Windsor hung on but the fans were forced to wait after trouble with the floodlights delayed the start of the second half.

What a shambles. Showcase game for W&E, and they still forget to put 50p in the meter for the floodlights. Perhaps if they hadn't spent more than their budget allowed on players wages, there wouldn't be frequent embarrasment with the infrastructure at Slug Meado

You obviously don't keep up with the news. The Chairman immediately issued a statement following the original article regarding overspends and confirmed that it had not gone on playing budgets but unforeseen repairs and maintenance at the ground along with the major sponsor withdrawing due to the current economic climate. So, jamie jarvis, or whichever other bitter person you are, get your facts straight. Not even your sad comments will spoil the celebrations this evening!

In his statement, did Peter Simpson ever refute his quotes? No. Scott has taken the mick out of Peter big time and this story is far from over.

I think you will find that in Peter Simpson's second statement he completely set the record straight saying Scott had always stayed within the budget he had been set at the beginning of each season and went on to further clarify and detail unforeseen maintenance which totally resulted in the overspend. In fact was at the game last night when Simpson congratulated Scott in front of supporters and further added that Scott had also worked incredibly hard behind the scenes. You really don't have a clue.
