Nathan Jack in his Bracknell Town days.

KEITH Scott is looking for a Jack in the box to supplement his strike force and he has found it in the form of Nathan Jack.

The Royalists have agreed to sign Jack who used to play for Bracknell Town and has netted 10 goals in 25 games so far this season for title rivals AFC Totton.

"Nathan has signed the transfer form, he has agreed to come and join us," confirmed Scott. "I've spoken to their management and their secretary so as of next Saturday he will be available for selection and I'm delighted to have him on board.

"I must say that Victor (Osobu) has gone, he didn't want to go, we didn't want him to go but he signed a pre-contract agreement but even if Victor had have still been here I would have brought Nathan on board because at the end of the day he has got 10 or 11 goals this year, he's at the right age, 23 in February, he's local as in he lives in High Wycombe.

"From what I've seen of him I like, I think he can develop, he's a left-footer so gives us that balance and I think he will be a great addition to our squad.

"I just felt that when you are doing well you need that little bit of an injection and as like all managers I'm always on the look out for new players who are quality.

The new additions might not stop there either with Scott on the lookout to make one more signing to keep their excellent unbeaten run going through the second half of the season.

"I've got room to bring one more player into the squad but he's got to be the right one, if I find him, brilliant, if not then we will go with what we've got," commented the Royalist supremo.

"Within my budget then I have room for one more, ideally now that we have four strikers again I'd like to probably look at a midfield/defender position. I've got a few that I want to look at over the course of the next month or so if I can and we will see how we go from there."
