SLOUGH Jets continued their fantastic form in the EPIHL with victories over Swindon Wildcats in a double-header against the Wiltshire outfit.

On Saturday they romped to a 7-0 triumph away from home and then backed that up with a 6-3 home win a day later to make it five wins on the bounce.

On Wednesday night the Jets strengthened their place in the top four by winning 5-3 at fifth placed Milton Keynes Lightning thanks to another impressive display by Adam Calder.

DariusPliskauskas hit the back of the net four times as Slough Jets thrashed Swindon Wildcats 7-0 in their own back yard on Saturday.

It was an even first period at the Link Centre but it ended in favour of the visitors as a Jets powerplay goal from Pliskauskas at 12.53 was the only goal of the period.

The second period saw the visitors forge a lead as Pliskauskas scored a second powerplay goal at 29.43. Ryan Watt made it 0-3 at 35.54 and Pliskauskas scored his third of the night, another powerplay at 37.36.

Starting the third period four goals ahead, Slough capitalised as Pliskauskas added his fourth at 51.24, quickly followed at 51.43 by Adam Calder.

The game's final goal came from Shaun Thompson at 52.57 who added to his three assists. Slava Koulikov also claimed three assists during the match and Jan Krajicek two.

Perhaps more impressive than the seven goals scored was that it was Slough's first shutout of the season.

The scoring was spread out by the Slough Jets on Sunday as they completed the weekend double over the Swindon Wildcats with a 6-3 victory.

Slough picked up where they left off the previous night with Darius Pliskauskas netting the opening goal at 3.44.

Doug Sheppard netted at 6.07 and Adam Calder made it 3-0 at 9.52 before the visitors called their time-out.

Jonas Hoog pulled a goal back for Swindon at 11.15 but Slough ended the period at 3-1.

The teams coasted through the middle period until the home team time-out at 32.43 and Ryan Watt added the fourth goal at 34.38, quickly followed by Joe Greener making it 5-1 at 36.15 and it was game over.

Slough got the better start in the third period with Slava Koulikov scoring at 41.14 but two late powerplay goals allowed Swindon to add to their score with Joe Baird scoring at 55.21 and 58.35 to add respectability to the score.
