Sting in the tail for Jets

JUST when it looked like the Slough Jets would be enjoying a double triumph over the Bracknell Bees this weekend, their local rivals came back to stun them on Sunday evening.

The Jets ran riot on Saturday, winning 7-1 at the Hangar with a hat-trick from Peter Poljacek, two from Dan Davies and Slava Koulikov and captain Blaz Emersic also scoring.

Then in the return at the Hive on Sunday, the Jets lead 3-1 with five minutes to go with goals from Peter Jasik, Emersic and Koulikov.

However, Bracknell scored twice to send the game into over time wher Jaroslav Cesky proved the Bees hero to win it for the home side and claim his fourth of the night.
