HEAD coach Pete Russell continues to raid the Bracknell Bees with the capture of top netminder Gregg Rockman.
He has also secured the services of forward Michael Bowman for another season at the Slough Jets.
Russell commented: 'Both Gregg Rockman and Michael Bowman have signed for the Jets and I feel that with these two guys we are continuing to recruit quality players and people to the Jets organisation for the season ahead.
'The team has been taking shape over the past month and with the addition of these two guys it takes us to 10 players and a goalie and there will be more to come over the next few weeks.
'The addition of Rocks (Rockman) to the squad is a great signing for us,' remarked the head coach.
'All successful teams have a top end goalie and in Rocks we definitely have got that, in-fact, in my eyes he is in the top two or three in the EPL (English Premier League). He has great technique and is in great shape. He is a great guy with a winning attitude.'
On joining the Jets, Rockman said: 'I feel grateful to have joined another great organisation like the Slough Jets, as everybody is aware of the situation with the Bees and like so many other players from last year, we have had to make tough decisions over the last month.
'When Peter contacted me and told me of the team he had already signed and the players he was talking to, it looked like a very strong and competitive squad.
'He has brought in some new fresh faces but still kept quality, core players from previous Slough teams. I am sad to be leaving Bracknell, but at the same time very excited at the new challenges that stand in front of me now at Slough.'
One of those quality, core players for the last campaign is Bowman.
'Bowie (Bowman) is a great person and a good player and it"s brilliant to have him back to the club for another season,' remarked Russell.
'Bowie is a smart player with good skills, and reads the game real well.'
