PETE Russell's Slough Jets revolution is starting to take place as the final import slot has been filled by forward Peter Jasik.

Head coach Russell has brought them former Bracknell Bee with him to the Hangar and also been able to keep hold of Paddy Ward who has re-signed.

"I am extremely happy to announce two more signings for the forthcoming season," commented Russell. "The first is Peter Jasik, who fills our final import slot. Peter is a fantastic signing for us as he was one of the top players in the EPL (English Premier League) last year.

"He has lightening speed, great hands and good moves on one on ones. Last season ‘Jazz hands' (Jasik) had 90 plus points, and has the ability to change a game. This is what I am looking for from our imports and Jaz has the individual skills in his game which a top import requires to be successful in this league.

"Jazzy was one of the first players I tried to sign as I know what he can do after working with him last year. I am hoping for big things from him again this year, infact I believe he can be even better this season as he knows the league now and what it takes to be successful.

"Personally, it's going to be great to work with Jazzy again as he is a great guy and I know he is really excited to get going with his new team mates. I am very sure that he will become a fans favourite in no time."

On defenceman Ward, Russell said: "I am very happy to announce that Paddy Ward will be returning for his fourth season with the Jets. I have known Paddy for 10 years and I know his game very well, so it's fantastic to get him back.

"Paddy would easily be a top three ‘d' man in any team in this league. He has good size, good skills and is a smart player. Paddy will bring lots of experience to the room and is a great guy to have around."
