PAUL Britton is demanding a response from Windsor as they look to get their season back on track following the derby defeat.

The Home Park side suffered their first loss of the Southern Counties North campaign at local rivals Slough on Saturday as their play was littered with mistakes.

Windsor host Chipping Norton who boast a 100 per cent record so far this season but Britton is looking to dent that in what should be a cracking encounter on Saturday.

"That's a very key fixture for us," stated Britton. "We drew against them and they beat us by one point last season so they were two very close contests.

"They like to play running rugby so we are expecting a good contest. Probably a very different contest to what the local derby presented us with.

"What is important is that we come away with the two points."

He added: "We are trying to get back on track this weekend."

Windsor are missing players but the head coach believes that the Development XV - who are flying high in the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Premier A League - can provide the players to step up and be counted.

Britton commented: "We've got a few changes forced upon us and looking at the league, the results are already pretty topsy-turvy. I would think that was down to injuries and availability so this is where our policy of trying to develop a development team will come to the fore.

"It's a chance for the guys to step up and stake a claim for a place."
