WINDSOR'S Richard Eccles has just returned from Glasgow having hepled inspire England to triumph in the Home Nations Touch Rugby Championships at the weekend.
England dominated the men's competition, beating Wales 8-5 in a hard fought semi-final which meant meeting the home team Scotland in the final. After a slow start, England took control as their superior fitness and speed began to tell and led 5-2 at half time going on to win 9-3 to take the Home Nations trophy.
Eccles had a good day setting up a number of scores and playing a key role in this winning team who are also European Champions.
He will continue his development with Bristol Fijians on returning to university in Exeter after the summer break whilst also looking to represent his university in the senior 15 a side rugby team.
