JOHNSON Hippolyte has moved quickly to bolster his Maidenhead United squad ahead of the 2012/13 season by capturing the signings of Derek Duncan and David Pratt.

Duncan, 25, joins the Magpies from Blue Square Conference South winners Woking.

The left full back or winger also won the division with Ebbsfleet United during the 2010/11 season.

While striker Pratt makes the switch to York Road from Basingstoke Town in search of regular first team football.

Maidenhead's position in the Conference South for the upcoming season was secured when a reprieve from the Football Association was confirmed at the Conference's Annual General Meeting on Saturday.

United boss Johnson told the Observer: "We are over the moon, happy to have the reprieve.

"We were gutted to be relegated and are determined to do what we can to make up for it."
