SPORTING action was once again lost to the weather when temperatures as low as -8C gripped Slough in a frozen vice last weekend.
But Saturday's fixtures are set to get the green light with the met office forcasting temperatures of 9C on Wednesday and a low of just 4C that same evening.
Southern Division One Central leaders Slough Town welcome AFC Hayes to Holloways Park and will hope that local rivals Burnham will boost their title prospects by taking points from their visit to second placed St. Neots Town.
It is third against fifth when Beaconsfield travel to Biggleswade Town looking to cement their place in the division's play-off places while Holyport take on Binfield in an all-Berkshire Hellenic Premier derby.
