MANAGER Keith Scott has voiced his concerns over Windsor FC's ever-tightening fixture list.
The announcement from the Windsor supremo comes after recent trips to Dorking and Horley Town were postponed due to the freezing conditions that have gripped the nation.
And with the forecast suggesting that Saturday's visit of Wembley (3pm) will be next to fall foul of the weather, Scott is toying with the idea of adding personnel to his small squad.
"It's not ideal, it's an inconvenience, but it's the same for everyone and there is not a lot we can do about it," Scott told the Observer.
"The problem is we've got 12 weeks left and we're in a semi-final and competing for the league championship so I'm conscious of the Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday programme.
"We've got a heavy programme coming up so I may look for one or two more to come on board if the right type of players become available."
Windsor are now unbeaten in 13 games in all competitions and 15 in the Combined Counties Premier Division.
But Scott admits the likelihood of the postponed fixtures being rescheduled for midweek makes life more difficult for the fledgling club.
"I don't know whether it will turn out to be good or bad in the long term," Scott continued.
"The Dorking and Horley games are away so we now have to go there in midweek which makes them tougher.
"Players have to work in the morning and don't have time to go home for an hour or so of rest before the game."
However, a small positive from the current freeze-out is the imminent return to full fitness of Robert Lazarczuk and Jake Parsons.
Scott added: "The good thing is players with niggling injuries have had time to recover and some will benefit for the rest.
"We did a boxercise session in the club house on Monday when the pitch was covered in snow which Robert and Jake both took part in.
"Rob just has some bruising and the physio will take another look at Jake.
"If Jake has to miss another game in order to be fit for the remainder of the season then so be it."
If this weekend's game does go ahead at Stag Meadow the hosts will be looking to do the double over Wembley after a comfortable win in November.
Wembley have since come from behind to beat defending champions and leaders Guildford City, helping Windsor close the gap at the top to eight points, although Scott holds little hope of the game going ahead.
"Wembley did us a favour which we are grateful for," he continued.
"We beat them 4-1 at their place and that didn't flatter us because we played exceptionally well.
"It was a very good away win against a good footballing side.
"The difference was we were much more clinical in front of goal.
"But the problem is prior to the snow coming down, there were freezing conditions and the pitch was very hard."
WINDSOR'S trip to Dorking has been re-arranged for Tuesday, March 6 with a 7:45pm kick-off.
THE Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy semi-finals tie away at Abingdon United has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 28 with a 7:45pm kick-off.
