Windsor FC record a comfortabe 4-1 win over high-flying Egham Town in front of a crowd of over 800 at Stag Meadow to keep the pressure up on league leaders Guildford City.

Midfielder Joe Chandiram gave the hosts an eighth minute lead, poking home Ryan O'Toole's low cross after Egham missed the chance to clear the danger.

Star Striker Michael Chennells missed the chance to double the advantage before the break but made amends early in the second half with a riffled effort from inside the box.

Ben Porter's quick thinking and sharp turn gifted Romeo a simple tap in to seal the points on the hour mark.

O'Toole made it four seconds later with a low drive from 20-yards.

Full-back Dan Hartlebury pulled one back late on with a smart finish but Keith Scott's Windsor always looked the better side and fully deserved the three points.

Bright start from the hosts and fully deserving of the opening goal thanks to the electric pace of O'Toole.

O'Toole raced clear of the defence down the right and his cut back into the box wasn't cleared by the visitors defence allowing Chandiram to poke home at the back post.

Keith Scott's Windsor will be looking to extend their unbeaten league run to 11 in front of a bumper home crowd following the club's decision to offer free entry to all spectators.

The hosts put 10 past Raynes Park Vale before Christmas with star striker Michael Chennells nettting five times on his Meadow return to keep up the pressure on league leaders Guildford City.

While Egham Town, currently fourth in the Combined Premier, played out a remarkable 5-5 draw at Chessington & Hook United in their last league fixtuew on December 10.
