WINDSOR & Eton manager Dave Mudge has confirmed that Ryan Scott is due to re-sign for former club AFC Totton.

The 23-year-old signed at the beginning of June having made 45 appearances for Totton, who almost beat Windsor to the Division One South & West title last season.

Mudge said: "Due to family commitments Ryan is unfortunately unable to fulfil his pledge to the club and is subject to a seven day approach from Totton."

Mudge also confirmed that former Grimsby Town and Boston United midfielder Sam Wadieh has signed a contract for the forthcoming season.

The former Burnham boss also expects more signings to be made and will begin to finalise his squad ahead of the up-coming Southern Premier campaign.

Mudge added: "Sam is a midfield inforcer who has played very well so far in pre-season. We are expecting two more before the Binfield game on Saturday, if not, Monday.

"We still have three players away on holiday but will take a fairly strong squad of 16 to Binfield as we have targeted this as a first team game. We will soon be getting down to the nitty gritty of releasing players who we feel won't make the final first team squad."

Speaking about the captain situation he added: "Michael (Chennells) has done very well as captain during pre-season but players like Rob Bullivant and Matt Seedel, who are currently unavailable due to injury, are also outstanding candidates. We expect to have our captain in place before the friendly against Marlow."
