HOLYPORT manager Jason Andrews was pleased with his side's workmanlike performance as they beat South Kilburn 2-0 on Saturday.
Andrews commented: "We were delighted with the three points and, of course, a clean sheet is always great. We were a little short on numbers due to injuries and illness but the lads did what was asked.
"Lee Ovens made his debut in the centre of defence and was fantastic along Sam Jones. Jona always plays wherever we need him and his approach is fantastic, last week right back this week centre back - next weekend who knows!"
Holyport's goals came from Arron Lennon and Dan Rapley and the result was never really in doubt as South Kilburn rarely threatened.
On Saturday Port travel to Milton United with both sides eager for the points.
