Windsor 6, Bracknell 0 - second half

FULL-TIME - That's it folks. Windsor & Eton eased to a 6-0 win over David Tuttle's Bracknell side.

The Robins came hoping to snatch a point and their ultra-defensive 4-5-1 formation paid dividends for the opening 20 minutes. However, once one goal went in, the flood gates opened.

Kharis Lavine headed into his own net for 1-0 before a Gavin Smith brace and a stunning counter-attacking goal from Michael Chennels put the Royalists 4-0 to the good at the break.

In the second half Jake Parsons and Dave Pearce got on the scoresheet as Windsor won at a canter.

16.53 - Pearce should have made it 7-0, but he shot tamely wide when well-placed in the centre of the box.

16.51 - GOAL - Dave Pearce taps in at the back post to make it six after Mansell Way had done extremely well to deny Jake Parsons.

16.49 - Windsor have another goal ruled out. Marcus Richardson was offside when he headed past Way. Still 5-0.

16.47 - Ryan Parsons just missed a glorious chance after all his own work.

When he picked the ball up on the edge of his own box he had options in front of him, but he ignored them all and just ran straight through the middle of the Bracknell centre halves.

Clean through on goal he chipped the ball over the advancing Mansell Way, but just the wrong side of the post.

16.45 - Windsor have the ball in the net again, but it is ruled out for a push on Mansell Way. Still 5-0.

16.42 - First booking of the game for Bracknell Town's Toone for a crude challenge on Osobu, who was just too quick for him.

Toone is called into action again a minute later to clear off the line.

16.38 - More trouble for Bracknell here - Bradley, who has been impressive between the sticks has limped off.

Bracknell have used all of their subs, so are now down to 10 men and with an outfield player Mansell Way in goal.

Way's first action is to pull off an excellent block to deny Osobu.

16.36 - Windsor go close again. Fagan does a neat one-two with Seedel down the right before breaking into the box and smashing a shot off the post.

16.30 - GOAL - Nothing Bradley could have done about that. Jake Parsons' shot from the edge of the box took a sizable deflection before ending up in the back of the net. 5-0

16.28 - Victor Osobu breaks clear to force a corner which results in Bradley making yet another good save to deny Fagan. It could quite easily have been eight or nine without him.

16.23 - Bullivant makes his first save of the afternoon after a good shot from sub Karol Darowenko.

16.22 - Bradley saves smartly at the near post after Osobu did well to cut in from the left.

16.17 - Jake Parsons shoots over from the edge of the box just before Marcus Richardson comes on to replace Michael Chennels.

16.14 - Better from Bracknell. Bullivant has to be on his toes to deal with a left-wing cross.

At the other end Osobu is starting to look dangerous.

16.11 - Bracknell have their first shot of the game and it's not a bad effort from Garry Sargeant. He hit it from 25 yards and had Bullivant scrambling accross his line , but it went six inches over.

16.10 - Windsor start the second half as they ended the first and look hungry to score more goals.

16.07 - We're back underway and Windsor have made a double change at the break. Victor Osobu and Mooney on for Bruce Wilson and the two-goal striker Gavin Smith.

15.54 - Half time and Windsor deservedly lead 4-0.

15.52 - GOAL - And now it's four. Bracknell failed to clear a corner and Gavin Smith took advantage to nod in his second. 4-0.

15.50 - GOAL - Michael Chennels makes it 3-0 with a composed finish after a blistering Windsor counter attack.

A Bracknell free-kick was floated straight into Rob Bullivant's hands and he released Jake Parsons down the right. He broker clear before squaring to Chennels, who tapped the ball past Bradley.

15.47 - Windsor force a succession of corners to finish the half with a flourish. Twice Bracknell clear off their line, but it stays 2-0.

15.46 - Good burst forward for Bracknell by Ollie Goodhall, but Steve Butler deals with the trouble.

15.41 - GOAL - Smith heads in from a Chennels cross to double the Windsor lead. It has been coming.

Bracknell need to come out of their shell now, but you worry how many more they'll concede if they abandon their ultra defensive 4-5-1.

15.37 - Chennels flashes a shot just wide from the edge of the box after a one-two with Smith.

15.34 - Bradley makes another excellent save to deny Pearce from close range. Then Smith sees his header deflected wide and from the resulting corner Seedel heads over.

Another goal looks imminent.

15.32 - Windsor straight on the attack again and Pearce goes close.

He cut in from the left and shot across the face of goal.

15.30 - GOAL - Windsor finally break the deadlock. It was coming.

The unlucky Lavine headed it past his own keeper after a deep cross from Jake Parsons missed everyone.

You felt if Bracknell could have held out until half time, they might get something from this game. Difficult to see it at this stage.

Windsor 1, Bracknell 0

15.28 - Seedel denied twice. First his shot from the edge of the box is deflected behind for a corner and then, when the ball squirmed free to him, he forced a fine save from Bradley.

15.27 - Matt Seedel makes a break into the box, but is dispossesed.

15.26 - Another half chance goes begging for Windsor, Butler heading over a Wilson free-kick.

15.24 - Two good crosses from Windsor come to nothing. The first from the right by Jake Parsons is dangerous, but is claimed by the keeper.

The second by Ryan Parsons from the left is headed wide by Chennels.

15.22 - A cross from Ryan Parsons from the left is fumbled by Bradley in the Bracknell goal, but noone is there to tap it in. Still 0-0, Windsor are starting to get a bit frustrated.

15.19 - Windsor still with all the ball, but they are struggling to break Bracknell down.

Pearce just made a great run down the left, but put the ball behind for a goalkick.

15.17 - Bracknell get into the Windsor half for the first time with a free kick on half way, but Seedel heads clear.

15.12 - Chennels is starting to cause Bracknell trouble, Im not sure how much longer they will be able to contain him.

Windsor force the first corner after Jake Parsons crossed from the right. The corner was headed over.

15.10 - Good penalty shout for Windsor when Smith goes down in the box. , but the referee waves away the protests.

Windsor still on top, but Bracknell look up for it early on.

15.02- And we're underway. The star of the show so far is undoubtedly new Windsor mascot Scotty the Stag.

Windsor start on the front foot, putting together a few passes. Steve Butler heads over from an early free kick.

15.00 - Welcome to Stag Meadow for a mouthwatering Berkshire derby between Southern League Division One South & West leaders Windsor & Eton and rock-bottom Bracknell Town.

Both sides are deperate for the three points for very different reasons. The unbeaten Royalists have opened up a six point gap over the chasing pack at the top of the pile and will be keen to extend that going into the hectic Christmas period.

By stark contrast David Tuttle's Bracknell side have one just once all season and are in danger of falling away at the bottom of the league.

The hosts have kept four clean sheets in a row, while Bracknell conceded eight the last time they travelled to Stag Meadow to take on Bedfont Green.

The teams are in and Keith Scott has given David Pearce a start against the side he was out on loan to earlier in the season.

Windsor: Bullivant, Fagan, Parsons, Wharton, Butler, Seedel, Wilson, Parsons, Smith, Chennels, Pearce.
