HOLYPORT blew a three goal lead as they lost 4-3 to runaway Division One East leaders Wokingham & Emmbrook on Saturday at Summerleaze.

The started brightly and completely dominated the first 25 minutes with the breakthrough arriving when a quick free-kick from Paul Reed released Lewis Driver and he held off his man before slotting home.

Port then peppered the visitors goal but Jamie Handscombe headed over and Driver nodded wide with the Satsumas also nearly scoring an own goal.

Midway through the half a challenge by Sam Jones on the dangerous Richard Bland sparked a melee which resulted in Wokingham manager Wayne Wanklyn sent from the touchline.

The second half started with a bang as Reed's free-kick was poked in by Driver and it was 3-0 agter just 51 minutes when a Reed corner went straight in.

At this point it was looking like Holyport could reel in Wokingham's sizeable lead at the top of the table with their games in hand but the pace-setters had other ideas.

The visitors hit back three minutes later when they intercepted a quick free-kick and a cross was turned in to his own net by Aaron Coleman.

Having played well, Port failed to close the game out and the Satsumas burst into life with goals from Luke Lee and Dan Horscraft (2) to take all three points in the 90th minute.
